Meet Adelia – Our Principal Therapist

Amber Health, Beauty & Sports Injury Clinic was founded by Adelia, our highly experienced and passionate Principal Therapist. With over three decades of hands-on experience, Adelia has been a leading figure in Plymouth’s beauty and wellness scene since 1991.

The clinic, as it stands today, was born over 15 years ago, evolving from smaller premises into a full-service salon. Ten years ago, we expanded by acquiring the top flat of the building, transforming it into the purpose-built Amber Health, Beauty and Sports Injury Clinic. Sadly, a fire in June 2010 halted progress temporarily, but after extensive repairs completed in 2011, the clinic reopened better than ever—boasting up to five fully equipped treatment rooms, a walk-in shower, and a spacious, modern reception area.

Adelia began her journey by qualifying as a Beauty Therapist in Plymouth, later advancing her skills with a qualification in Sports Injury Massage. Since then, she has undertaken over 48 specialist training courses and continues to build on her knowledge with regular professional development. Her dedication to her craft, warm personality, and results-driven approach have earned her a loyal clientele who often refer to her as “simply the best.”

Adelia has been a proud member of BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) for nearly 20 years. All treatments are carried out under full BABTAC insurance, ensuring peace of mind and the highest professional standards for every client.
